Caleb has always had a major interest in sports and learning what it takes to be the best. Throughout his life, Caleb has competed in football, basketball, golf, track and field, and cross country. Caleb graduated from Wakefield High School in Wakefield, KS in 2013, and is currently attending Ottawa University in Ottawa, KS. Caleb competed in both basketball and track and field for the OU Braves. Caleb will be graduating in December of 2016 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning.
After beginning his degree path at Ottawa, it became more and more obvious to Caleb how working in the weight room can really put a team/athlete ahead of the pack. Also, Caleb discovered the importance of the weight room in terms of building character as well as the ultimate athlete.
Caleb has experience working with middle-school athletes, having coached boy’s summer league basketball back home in Wakefield for 3 years. Caleb also spent the summer of 2016 learning and gaining experience under the coaches at Kansas City Speed and Sport in Leawood, Kansas. Caleb hopes to continue working with middle school, high school and college athletes. He wants to receive his coaching certificate, as well as a CSCS certification upon graduating from OU. His long term goal is to become a head collegiate strength coach and eventually own his own gym.
